General Help Questions
Q: The cart seems to 'drop' my details - I have to keep entering them or it doesn't ask for my payment details?
A: For the vast majority of our shoppers, this is not an issue. However we do occasionally get emails about this. All too often, users have their browser security settings set way too high. Each case is different but the following might help:
You must have 'cookies enabled' on your browser (see blue text below). Its also possible that a mixture of Norton, a firewall, or other applications can interfere with the way the cart works. Try turning these off during the shopping session or temporarily lowering your security settinmgs. Also, if you're using AOL, this can also have a detrimental effect on the way the cart works so we recommend you use Internet Explorer (or equivalent) whilst browsing the shop. We find that most problems encountered are normallys due to one or more of the above - not the cart itself which works for 95% of users. If you continue to have problems despite the above, please call us anytime between 10.00am and 5pm (GMT) and we'll treat it as a telephone order.

Its also worth noting that products selected are stored for a MAXIMUM of 18 minutes so if you hang around longer than this or decide to nip out for a chinese takeway halfway through selecting items, it will drop your order anyway.
Q: How do I know my order is secure?
A: Credit Card details are handled exclusively by Protx using 128bit encryption. This ensures the utmost security throughout the purchasing process.
Q: Why doesn't the shop display the postal/shipping costs for my order?
A: It does - once you get to the checkout. Think about this. We sell darts and dartboards all over the world and total order weights as well as postal destinations vary a great deal. It is only when we have your order details and home addy in full that we can calculate final postage costs. Postal calculation chart can be found here. If your final postage costs show as £999,999 etc, this is because your order weight exceeds normal mail order rates. In this case, ring us and we'll suggest a different method for despatch.
Q: Everything is in £'s Sterling, whats the equivalent in my local currency?
A: We hope to display Euros in the near future but an online currency convertor may help.
Q: I want to pay by cheque - who should it be payable to?
A: H. Perrigo |
